Telework Week 2011

Last week was Telework Week in the US, and in total over 39,000 individuals and organizations teleworked for that week, saving (wait for this...) 2.73 MILLION DOLLARS in just one week. The environment benefited too, with the reduction of all that commuter traffic, traffic emissions were way down, so over 1800 tons of pollutants were saved from being released into our atmosphere. Roll that out over 52 weeks in the year, and see the cost savings and environmental benefits really add up.
