 So where do I start?

  • First of all, click on the Tasks tab on the top bar of the rworks.com web application
  • A list of the tasks you need to do will appear. These have either been assigned to do by your manager if you are working as part of a team, or by yourself if you are a freelancer.
  • You will also see the description of the task, when it is due, whether it is of low, medium, high  or critical priority.
  • It will also state whether the task has been started yet, and how much time has been spent on it.

So what do I do then?

  • Start working on your task. If it is eg. a Microsoft Word Document, call it the same name as it has on the Assigned task list. Start typing as normal and take a look at the desktop application, which demonstrates all of todays tasks and activities.
  • Under the Assigned Tasks tab on the desktop application, your task will be listed, along with the date it is due, its priority and how much time you have spent on it so far today.Time will start tracking against that task as soon as you start working on it.
